Marinated Hanger or Bavette Steak

Makes about 350ml

                                

INGREDIENTS

2 garlic cloves, crushed

2 long red chillies

250ml olive oil

2tbs sherry vinegar

2tbs Worcestershire sauce

1 tbs tinned tomatoes

100ml kecap manis

1tsp freshly ground black pepper

2tbs thyme

HOW TO PREPARE

  • In a food processor blitz all the ingredients and rub into the trimmed steaks.
  • Leave the steaks to marinate overnight but for the best results for 2 days.
